It is lockable so helps protect against theft when your rucksack is not with you but in cargo etc. It helps prevent transit damage and stops your rucksack straps etc getting caught in conveyor belts. It also can be easily converted into a rucksack rain cover and it is waterproof. When not in use it does not take up much room and can be stuffed into a small space in your rucksack until the next time needed. Now that we see this simple but really practical item for ourselves we can see why it was requested by so many of our customers.
