This packaway jacket is a must for all walkers, hikers and anybody likely to get caught in the rain. It packs away into it's own little stuff sack so takes up very little room and is lightweight. Handy for when you need high quality protection without carrying a heavy coat around. The fabric is independently tested to ensure it has exceptional breathability and it has a hydrostatic head of 5000mm (which means it is very waterproof). The clever part about this fabric is it is breathable so allows perspiration to escape keeping you dry and comfortable inside. There is nothing worse than wearing a low quality waterproof which isn't breathable, and you end up hot, sweaty and very uncomfortable. It also has a durable water repellent outer treatment to the fabric which helps the water just run off. Another of it's great features is it's excellent windproof performance which eliminates windchill.
Can be popped into the bottom of a rucksack, handbag, glove compartment etc for whenever the heavens open.
