    Haynes Manuals  

Haynes Manuals come in handy whether you own a new or used car. When your late model pride and joy splutters the day after the warranty expires or when your second-hand purchase needs a steady stream of tender loving care, Haynes Manuals come to the rescue for less cost than the garage bill.

My local garage charges a lot even for small repairs - that type of repair that I could do yourself – with some help!

Haynes produce books that cover so much material that you will probably never need to “learn” the whole book. Luckily, solutions are easy to find in the table of contents. You are then guided step-by-step through the repair job.

Drawings and pictures illustrate the explanations, which are written in plain English and are easy to follow. The tools required are also listed, so that you will have the tools ready before you start the work.

In particular, I like the cut-away diagrams of the engine and the full explanations of what each part does. Also, there are pages-upon-pages of how to fix the part when it all goes wrong.

My purchase cost of a Haynes Manual was recouped the very first time I used it!
