This new shop should be available to use in May meaning 1st-harrison.com will be far faster and slicker to use. Additional product information and some better pictures should improve the customer experience. Regatta footwear will be listed for all to see in July - can't wait. We will be listing wellington boots very soon too. Welcome to our newest staff member Jake who now looks after the warehouse. Following a very strong Christmas we are forging ahead in 2010 and are well ahead of targets! August 2009 Stock Changes The weather here in the UK is unpredictable as usual. We will soon be taking delivery of our Winter stock which will include hats, gloves, thermals, etc. Children's Sleeping Bags are now in stock and will be on-line shortly. Ideal for sleepovers. Each packs away into it's own rucksack for ease. We have hedgehog, bear and football style sleeping bags. We are preparing for the lead up to Christmas now which will no doubt mean we will need more staff to pick and pack all the orders. Although the press is still ranting on about the recession, we are still working hard here at 1st-harrison! Feb 2009 1st-harrison.com Expand At the begining of February 1st-harrison.com have doubled the warehouse space in use and are looking to build a shop at the front of the warehouse to provide a comfortable environment for customers and suppliers to be welcomed. Discussions are now well under way with several new suppliers so we do have a huge amount of development work in front of us but the end result will be a fantastic array of outdoor action clothing and accessories for all seasons. I promise you will soon be able to dress yourself from head to toe from this one site whether you love walking, camping, climbing, cycling, hunting or airsoft! We will be covering many types of sports and action kit including a new range a tents so do visit again soon. Jan 2009 New Winter Clothing & Accessories The 2009 "SNOWBAW Tour" Event in Edinburgh this month was great! We were impressed with the quality of various winter activity clothing and accessories on show. I'm sure that some of the products will find their way into our store in the near future as we met quite a few potential new suppliers with some very clever products that took our fancy. Watch this space! We might have a look at the forthcomming 2009 "BEACHBAW" Event for the summer gear too! Jan 2009 - Mens Mountain Bikes, Womens Bikes, Childrens Bikes, Electric bikes - Coming soon! We have been in discussion with one of our existing suppliers regarding mens mountain bikes, womens mountain bikes and childrens mountain bikes. In fact we might try out an electric bike too and a few helmets of course! Jan 2009 - Livingston Scotland - Car, Camping and Hiking Accessories fly out the door - What Credit Crunch? We are already seeing a large increase in people going hillwalking, hiking and camping for the first time this year. I think it's partly down to the doom and gloom in the media about the "credit crunch". Luck (and a spot of hard work too) is definately with us as we are enjoying an early increase in sales.
